God damn amount of times I have been asked this, and even bigger GOD DAMN me amount time I lost thinking about this myself. Till I realised to solution.

Let me tell you straight up, you can build 2 or more businesses at once. Contrary to all those who keep saying no, just do 1.

Firstly, I must make it clear. For most, they should indeed do only one Business.

To be absolutely frank, many do not have the endurance, the ability to sacrifice, the fortitude to look straight into the eye of the storm and just say 🖕 Im going to still keep going. They love their leisure time, they love Netflix and so called “loved ones” ask for their attention and they feel guilty for not giving time. Note, there is no balance, there is just calculated time allocation.

Now for those few #risingway nutcases like me, who have multiple ideas, and these ideas when they hatch, just become a thorn in your head. That never leaves. At times becomes crippling whilst trying to work on existing project. Us lot, you and me. We have no choice except to strategically execute on the main primary business ideas that keep harassing our thoughts. Invading our psyche.

However know 80% of revenue and dedication will be towards 1 and the rest will be on the others

But as the 80% is executing at max level it will be almost someone elses 100%. This will allow you to mess around with the “Side Hustles” businesses your launching.

The Side Hustle businesses

So Main business gives you the cash to do other things

But You Must do the Side Hustle and “Taste” how you like the other businesses

Because if your like me, and don’t give a shit about all the enjoyment and nonsense people are doing, and actually enjoy the “Game” then you have no choice but to do multiple businesses

make it rain hustle GIF
Do the Side Hustle and “Taste” it !

It was crippling in my head about the:

  • “What if” of all the businesses I had clear ideas for actually work?
  • Which could work well?
  • Will I be able to deliver value to customers or am I just full of dreams?
  • Will I actually enjoy it more than what I Think?
  • Or will I hate it and just scrap it so I can dedicate to other things?

Let me Give you an Example:

I did a hospitality business few years back:

  • Saw other people doing well and eventually found an interested partner who was in that same trade also doing well. My initial assumption was it isn’t that hard. I also just wanted to do it to have a place to go chill.
  • But till you do it, faced the issues, dealt with partners and logistics.
  • The worst of all the amount of time it required away from main businesses, even though it was a delegated partnership. The ROI was never going to be good enough.
  • Frankly, I learnt I had Zero “appetite” for the crap that goes along with that sort of industry. Especially the relatively low income compared to my existing businesses.
  • I  learnt I never want to do that as its not my style.

Taste the idea and Plan ahead

So Plan your Side-Hustles to fit around your existing Primary Business, Execute Fast, and “taste” the businesses

Go all-in on 1 and Hustle on the others till they start producing something.

If they don’t, Kill it, unless you can keep it running and you really enjoy it. At least you know now if you love it or hate it.

If you do not have a Primary business yet, then your in another state of procrastination, as you may have multiple ideas, and not know which to do.

I actually go into that in this blog

Hopefully, that helps to start and test your first main business idea.

The Risingway

The absolute Key here to succeed is to Enjoy the Process; building a team, carving out the FTP (create and follow the processes see the Blog), making sales, meeting people, learning more, then learning even more.

The fun in the process will allow you not to care about the money or the lack of (which initially is likely).

In turn, will help you keep building and one day you will wake up and reaslise you made it financially, but you know what?

The truth is you won’t care! WTF moment right?

Because you were doing it day after day, every hour after hour, for a whole other reason accept money. The Process, the Hustle, The Grind — THE JOURNEY. Creating your Risingway
