For many of us running a business especially those online, Facebook and Instagram ads are critical to our success.
Many new advertisers just simply do not learn Facebook ads and their policies and end up getting their ad accounts banned.
To avoid this I have made a quick guide to ensure at the very least you are covering the main areas to ensure your Facebook ad account does not have an issue.
Prevention is much more better than repair.
So lets get into it.

- You must know Facebook ads policy
- Do not skim read, really read every single word, to ensure you know what they allow and what they do not allow
No 2 Correctly Setup Ad accounts
- Use Business.facebook to make ad accounts
– Do not use your own personal ad account - Make few ad accounts with Different Credit Cards
- Each business/brand should have its own ad account
- each account should have its own credit card or payment method
- If banned Facebook bans all accounts with same credit cards
- Make new accounts but when asked for credit card do not do it and leave
- Reserve these accounts as a backup if main account gets banned
- Warm up each ad account with few ads of low cost just to ensure Facebook knows your using it
- Facebook prefers if you do ads that link to within Facebook which is safe for their users
- They allow external link outs, But follow their guidance of what landing pages they allow
- Use 2 factor authentication it helps Facebook to reduce risk to your account especially if your using it from different computers or locations (different IP address)
No 3 Landing page:
- Be very clear and transparent about where the link takes the user
